Bungay Cricket Club

Bungay have 3 senior sides, two Saturday league and one Sunday league. The first XI play in the Norfolk League Div 1 and the Second XI in Div 7. The Sunday side play in the Mid-Norfolk Sunday League Div 3 and we are also looking into the possibility of running a third/colts side in 2008.

We also run under 10's, 11's, 13's and under 15's sides and are looking to introduce the older boys into senior cricket this season.

The club are also Sport England clubmark accredited and this was achieved before the start of the 2007 season. We have recently joined together with local Football and tennis clubs to form a "Sports Association" and completed a £1m project to build new club-house and changing facilities.

We have also started to prepare a new wicket on a new piece of enclosed land we have acquired and this should be ready for 2008.

We therefore now boast some of the best facilities in Norfolk and we now want to build the team to compete with the best in Norfolk.
